Artits's Statement
“In recent decades, corporate powers have spread their seed exponentially throughout the world. This has occurred swiftly and with limited question. My work confronts the circumstances resulting from corporate domination. Through the use of particular forms and colours along with materials like used espresso coffee grounds and fabric, I examine the workings and effects of the Starbucks Corporation in particular. By exposing the practices of one corporation, I aim to begin a constructive dialogue regarding the overwhelming circumstances of an increasingly dominating corporate capitalism present in the world today.”
